The Farmhouse

is a roomy log structure that offers southern comfort, with beamed living room, dining room, sunroom, library and sprawling porches. The sitting room invites guests to read a book by the fireplace, enjoy the panoramic views, or simply daydream. Spend a lazy afternoon sipping tea in the sun-dappled kitchen, browsing the library loft or enjoying the charming sunroom. Guests may cozy up to the fireplace in the winter or snuggle up with a book by a sunny window. Summer is comfortable with cooling fans, breezy porches, room air conditioners and big open windows. The upstairs of the Farmhouse has a library and two comfortable in-lodge suites with private baths.

The Pearl…

is a spacious bedroom with lots of windows and a large private porch in the trees overlooking the farm and the mountains. It has a king bed, two single beds and private bath with Jacuzzi.

The Sweetie…

Opening onto the upstairs library, this suite provides a wonderful view of the sunrise and mountains. It has a queen bed, sitting area and an adjoining room with two single beds and private bath.

 

The Cabin by the Creek

is hidden in the trees with wrap-around porches and an unforgettable view of the sky. It is only a short walk from the Farmhouse alongside the creek. Guests come to the farmhouse for meals or we will deliver.

Roomy and open, it has a queen bed, two single beds, and a queen sofa bed. There is a full bath with shower and a partial well-stocked kitchen with fridge, microwave, teapot, coffeepot, blender and crock-pot, dishes and more. The cabin has a dining table and a cozy sunny sitting area with gas fireplace, library and a panoramic view of the farm. Comfortable furniture, books, radio, IPod dock and antiques make this very private hideaway a perfect spot for honeymoons, single retreats or quality time with friends. The wrap-around porches and windows are perfect for bird or wildlife watching and quiet reflection.

The Cozy Cabin

is a 180 year old charming restored chestnut log cabin with fantastic views, handmade quilts and all the comforts of a genuine home in the mountains. It will sleep nine comfortably with two sitting areas for reunions, group getaways and family vacations, but is also very cozy for one couple, single retreats or families with children.

The upstairs bedroom is like Grandma’s house with a full bed, queen bed, and two single beds with handmade quilts and alternative-feather duvets and a partial bath. The log living room, downstairs, offers guests a comfortable place to gather. There is a large adjoining room with wrap-around windows and a small well-stocked kitchen with fridge, microwave, teapot, coffeepot, blender and crock-pot and more. This room has a dining table, comfy rocking chairs, gas fireplace and a wonderful view of the farm and gardens. There are three single beds, a futon couch and a full bath with shower downstairs. Comfortable furniture, books, radio, air conditioning, window fans and antiques adorn this 180 year old cabin. There is a deep, covered, private back porch with rocking chairs from which to spot deer and wild turkey or catch a cool breeze. The tin roof makes even a rainy day special!
