Heart of the Holler — the whole retreat, reserved just for your group.
When your group outgrows a single cabin, the Heart of the Holler opens up the whole retreat. Reserving it reserves both the Whippoorwill Retreat and the River Cane Retreat, joined by a sixteen-foot breezeway so your party can spread out or gather close as the day calls for it. Two wide porches look out over meadows and ridgelines, and the whole place is yours alone.
The two cabins mirror one another. Each has an open living room stocked with books, puzzles, and regional art; a kitchenette with a full fridge and freezer, microwave, and coffee and tea; a daybed on the main level; and upstairs a private bedroom plus a lofted sleeping space. Between them you have four full bathrooms, two per cabin, and comfortable room for fourteen to eighteen guests on 300 acres of Kentucky hillside.

Two connected cabins, each sleeping 7–9 guests, with two full bathrooms per cabin and multiple sleeping spaces across the main level and loft.

Group Pricing for 10 or More
Groups, retreats, and gatherings of 10 or more people qualify for special group pricing. Rather than a fixed nightly total, we build your rate around what you actually need — length of stay, guest count, meals, meeting time, and any extras you would like added.
How to Reserve
The Heart of the Holler is not booked through our online calendar. Once we know a little about your gathering, we will put together a personalized quote and send an invoice for a deposit sized to your event details. Your dates are held as soon as that deposit is paid.

Reserving the Heart of the Holler: Because every large-group stay is a little different, we do not take a fixed deposit online. Tell us about your gathering and we will send a personalized invoice for the deposit that fits your event, then hold your dates once it is paid.
